I strongly disagree with this statement cause I think that Children under 14 should have phones

• Children should have phones to stay in contact with parents when in danger 
• Children should have phones so that they can talk to friends when alone

• They need phones to warn their parents if there is something important happening 
• They need phones to learn something new if there is no one around
