Do you think that children below the age of 14 years should have a phone? Children below the age of 14 years SHOULD have a phone. This might sound insane for other people especially parents. Understandably, they have their own reasons, but children under 14 should have their own phones.
Children these days mostly teenagers have been stressed, depressed and anxious. And one of the things that can help them is by having their own phone before you disagree here are some reasons on why you should consider.
By entertaining yourself online you could get some of your stress out, in particular watching videos that are funny, satisfying, or even maybe scary, can most definitely help you relax and help get your stress out. And if ever you are feeling depressed and need someone to talk to, countless social media allow you to talk and communicate with a friend or a family member. You could talk to someone in particular about your feelings and problems even if they are far away or hard to reach out in real life Also, talking about your feelings with someone can help you build a stronger relationship with someone and help build up your feelings own self-esteem. So if you really need someone to talk to or share your feelings with but don’t have the confidence to do so in real life you could easily do this on your phone via social media.
More reasons for having a phone can be quite handy that you could get information around you and news about the things currently happening in the world right now. This will help you take immediate action or at least know what to do if something uncalled for or unexpected happens. And for sure no one can deny that a phone is one of the greatest sources for learning if you do not have a Chromebook or are just too lazy to log on and carry that heavy device everywhere you go. Luckily if you have a phone that weighs like a feather, you could easily take it anywhere without breaking a sweat and you won’t even have to worry about logging on and waiting for a long time for it to actually log on. Why not use a phone if you can learn things the same way you learn on your Chromebook or any other device plus you won’t need a special case for it like a Chromebook case to take it anywhere you go, if you have a phone you could just slide it inside your pocket and you're good to go. Having a phone is also extremely useful if you are ever in danger or lost, you could call someone for help by just pressing a few buttons.
For this last reason, maybe everyone could agree on having a phone so that you could get to play games. Now, wait parents out there probably think that all children do on their phone is play video games and yes it is not really good for the child's health and yes, they shouldn't play on their phone all the time. But if your child is stressed out, depressed, or anxious, playing video games is one of the best ways to help them relax and hang out with their mates and I also think that it is a great way to make new friends online.
And those are the main reasons why children below the age of 14 years should have a phone.
